His list of words so far...

We have quite the talker on our hands (he must get that from Daddy!). :)

Let's see if I can name all of his words. These are all words that he uses on a regular basis and knows the meaning of. He is also very good at repeating words back at us if we ask him too!

Names:
Mama, Mommy, Dada, Daddy, Poochie, Baylee, Uncle, Auntie

He can say Grandpa too but it isn't super clear yet...Grandma still sounds like "mama"

Food:
Apple, banana, gish (Goldfish), cheese, turkey, baba (bottle)

Ones that we can understand but are still a little unclear: strawberry and blueberry

We are currently working on water, which he can say but hasn't said it to actually ask for it when he wants it.

Animals:
Horse, gish (his version of fish)

Vehicles:
Airplane, tractor, boat, truck

He says fire truck but it's one that only a few of us can understand. :)

Misc:
Ball, up, down, hi, bye, bath (if we say this word he RUNS to the tub...he loves bath time!), hot, balloon (still ones of his favorte things), bubble, walk, moon, sunshine, ocean, park, blanket, baby

Phrases:
love you (this is my favorite by far!) and all done

oh and course Imma Be should be on this list. :)

Signs that he does:
More, All Done

Words that we have to be careful with:
Bye bye, walk, outside, or park...these all mean we are going NOW according to him! :)

Scott's Father's Day Gift :)

I did this year's D-A-D pictures for Father's Day. :) Our little man has grown so much in the past year! Happy Father's Day Scotty...we love you! :)

17 Months Old Today! :)

First Oregon Coast Visit!

Scott had his annual golf trip this past weekend so Mom and I decided to take Jax over to the Oregon Coast for the night! We had such a great time. Jax LOVED playing in the sand and ocean...and he lvoed seeing all the "GISH" at the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport! Here are some pictures from our trip.

First time at the splash park!

We went to the West Linn Splash Park today with Tiff and Marlee! Jax and Marlee had SO much fun running around in the water! :)

Month 16 :)

Month 16 has been a blast!

Your favorite things: Listening and dancing to the song "Imma Be" by the Black Eyed Peas, doing anything outside, you still LOVE balloons and bubbles, you love the water (bath, pool, splash pad, etc).

New words this month: strawberry, blueberry, ocean, airplane, "love you", sunshine, money (daddy gives you his change each night when he gets home from work and you put it in your gator piggy bank!).

YUM...strawberry!! One of Jax's favorite fruits! :)
