We are so excited to introduce you to the newest member of our family! :) Jaxon Tyler Reetz was born at 7:09pm on Wednesday, Jan 14th via c-section. He is HUGE....10 pounds 6 ounces and 21 1/2 inches long! His size is the reason that we ended up in a c-section! After trying to dilate for over 12 over, I never got beyond 3/4 centimeters and his head was not dropping so Dr. Pew made the decision to do the surgery.
The nurses are currently laughing at me seeing that it is only 5am and I have already been out of bed twice and was able to walk around this last time! :) They said most people don't even attempt to get out of bed until 15-24 hours after surgery...
Jaxon has been perfect so far! The only time we have heard his little cry was when he was born...other than that he has been sleeping and nursing (which is also going really well so far!).

SO proud of you! And GOOD FOR YOU for getting up so soon. I did, too, and was so better off for it. You'll be feeling back to normal in no time. Congrats, and great job, mommy!

Congratulations! I kept texting Tami yesterday for updates. So glad to hear Jaxon is healthy and you are doing so well. You look great! Enjoy your new bundle!
WOW! Congratulations!!! Marisa, I am so impressed you carried a 10 pound baby! And for already being up and around. What a cute baby, I love it when they have rolls! Can't wait to see more pics! Good job Mom!
I'm so glad you are recovering so well! I was the exact same way! I thought the nurses wanted me to take a walk the evening after the c-section but they were just trying to move me to a chair for a few minutes. HA! :) So glad to hear you're doing well and I'm so glad Jax seems like a laid back back. I so look forward to "seeing" him grow up! :)
Congratulations, Ris!! I'm so excited for you :)
